"Examinations of the Mummy of Tutankhamun
In 1968 x-ray examinations of the mummy of
Tutankhamun by a group from the University of
Liverpool revealed that the mummy of King Tut
had dense spot on the lower back of the skull.
Another investigation in 1978 followed lead by a
group from the University of Michigan also found
the same. These findings lead to significant
questions and speculation that the young King Tut
had been killed, or murdered, by a blow on his
