We forget sometimes that – “management" does not emanate from nature, natural? It's not like a tree or a river. It's
like a television or a bicycle. It's something that "woman" invented; management is an invention, an invention that
has grown creaky at best (strictly a 2.0 phenomena). While some companies have oiled the gears a bit. Plenty more
companies only just pay lip service to the same. At its core management has not changed much in several hundred
years. Its central ethic remains control; its chief tools remain extrinsic motivators: complex punishment & reward
systems, higher profits at any cost. (Old Stuff) Management as it exists today relies on many outmoded
presumptions. (Out of Sync - Their's is a specific mentality.)
[Humans don’t come with an Operators Manual] ... So how does one become SMART?
When we humans enter the world; are we wired to be passive and inert? Or are we wired to be Proactive and
Engaged? It is our basic nature to be curious and self-directed. That's how we are rite out of the box/womb. If, at
age fourteen or forty-three, we're (not on the road to Total Success) passive and inert, that's not because it's our
nature. It's because something happened to our (default settings), something bad happened to our natural condition.
This can be resolved; take control of you, be responsible to you for you: no matter however difficult the task.
"When bad things happen to good people it's because Smart People did not do what they are supposed to do; the
Smart Ones FAILED!" It's very difficult to admit: "or Their parents failed them."
If your parents don't know nothing - chances are 'you know even less'.
